Penha Longa Resort, Sintra

The hotel is located within a beautiful golf course, offering a picturesque and relaxing environment relatively close to Lisbon but still secluded. The staff are incredibly customer-service oriented, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. However, the restaurant's breakfast service seemed overstaffed but lacked proper cutlery at times.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage space and elegant gold polyester curtains, making them feel luxurious. The service was top-notch, with the staff being very polite, friendly, and professional. The location was excellent, surrounded by greenery and medieval structures, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The dining experience was amazing, offering a wide selection of delicious dishes. The facilities were great, enhancing my overall stay.

The hotel had a great view and was very comfortable with a lounge area almost as if we were at home. However, the rooms looked a bit tired and did not meet expectations for a Ritz Carlton hotel. The service was exceptionally friendly, but there were long wait times for orders. The location was nice and protected from strong winds, making it a memorable stay. The dining experience was good overall, with some minor issues in the made-to-order options. The facilities were satisfactory.

The service provided by the around 25 to 30-year-old staff was exceptional, especially in the beautiful restaurants like The Lab. Despite facing an issue with charging my car, the staff went above and beyond to offer alternative solutions, including using the garage. The location is truly magical, with beautiful views, golf courses, and a tranquil adult area at the pools. It made my visit unforgettable, being close to Lisbon and the sea resorts. The dining experience varied, with an international menu reminiscent of South Florida, but with overcooked made-to-order eggs daily. The breakfast buffet, however, was excellent, offering a wide selection of deliciously prepared options. The facilities were good overall, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The rooms offered a great view and were incredibly comfortable, making me feel like I was at home. The amenities provided added convenience to my stay, although some areas needed a bit of refreshment. The main downside was the freezing water in the pool, but the location, perched above the pools with a view of the golf course, was stunning.
